RF-4C 65-0903 PAINT SCHEME

With input from our registered users and in consultation with the Strategic Air and Space Museum staff, the decision has been made to restore RF-4C 65-0903 to the European paint scheme flown by the Nebraska ANG in the late 1980's.  This scheme garnered 28 votes from our users, with the Southeast Asia Wraparound coming in second with 20 votes.  This scheme is reflective of the end of the Cold War era the Museum would like to highlight.  It's also in the middle between the Vietnam-era SEA camo scheme and the Hill Gray schemes in use as the aircraft were retired in the early 1990's.  The Museum staff has the spec's and is expected to begin priming in early June.  Painting should be complete in late July.   

Euro - Lincoln:  Wraparound European (EURO) scheme with gold "NEBRASKA" on tail fin and gold "LINCOLN" with a star are on rudder.
