WELCOME TO THE HOME OF NEANG PHANTOM INC.

(Incorporated under the Nebraska Nonprofit Corporation Act)

This is the Homepage of the NEANG Phantom Inc, an affiliation of individuals who flew the McDonnell Douglas RF-4C Phantom II with the Nebraska Air National Guard.  This site is dedicated to the perpetuation of the legend, history, traditions and camaraderie associated with the greatest fighter aircraft ever built.

Nebraska Phantoms Inc. is a non-profit, non-political, IRS 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Nebraska.  Nebraska Phantom Inc. recently held a fund drive to relocate a former Nebraska ANG Phantom Jet back to Nebraska.  The jet was recently delivered to the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska and is currently under renovation before being placed on permanent display.  We are pleased to be able to share the stories, pictures and history of this project with the general public.

As a courtesy to all of the Pilots, Weapons System Officers (WSO's) and Flight Surgeons who flew the RF-4C while assigned to the 155th Tactical Reconnaissance Group in Lincoln, Nebraska, we have kept your email and contact information private and require a login in order to access it.

Phantom Phlyer Reunion 2

Friday October 31:  Lincoln, NE
Saturday November 1:  SAC Museum, Ashland NE

Can you believe it's been 15 years since the last Phantom left Lincoln for the boneyard?  The good news is that we now have two Phantoms in the state to help us preserve our precious memories.  Of course we have 64-0998 on the stick at the ANG Base and thanks to your donations and the hard work of the Strategic Air and Space Museum, we now have 65-0903 on display at the SAC Museum.

To celebrate the completion and display of 65-0903 and the 15th anniversary of the last Phantom leaving Lincoln, we decided to have a party.  Details are still being worked, but we do know for sure that we will have a dinner at the Strategic Air and Space Museum near Ashland, Nebraska on Saturday, November 1, 2008.  The Museum has already been reserved for us, so please save the date now and plan to attend!

In conjunction with the dinner on November 1st, we're also looking at holding some events on Friday, October 31st as well.  We're considering a tour of the Lincoln ANGB on Friday afternoon, followed by an evening casual event somewhere in Lincoln.

For those of you in contact with other Phormer Phantom Phlyers not on our e-mail list, please pass the word around.  Even if your buds are on the e-mail list, call them anyway and encourage them to attend.  We want to have a great turnout that exceeds our event in 2006.

This is a preliminary notice only.  You can expect more details to follow in the next couple of weeks.  This will include a firm schedule of events, cost information and how to register.  We hope you will join us as we formally dedicate 65-0903 at the Museum and enjoy some camraderie with our Phantom Phriends.  Reserve the dates and keep checking your e-mail for additional information.
